Here I was asked to provide a low maintenance serene space to step out of the rat race. Which IS modern life.

After a number of meetings. I came up with a design to capture the imagination and provide the seamless link from home to garden. Including sunken porcelain fire pit area with lighting and a touch of the old school using the old stock brick. Which matches the Internal wall of their new extension.

The porcelain pathway around the artificial lawn provides the sense of journey from entertainment alfresco dining area to serene retreat. With the cover of the pergola providing the window to the sky. A time to reflect.
